Founded by Ben and Kristy Carlson, an American family passionate about enhancing Burundi’s coffee potential, Bukeye was the first washing station established to empower local farmers and improve the quality of their coffee. This station is more than a facility; it’s a community-driven project dedicated to producing some of the finest coffee Burundi has to offer, set along a charming tree-lined dirt road just outside the village of Bukeye.
